Product Description
This is a battery powered horn that operates on a 9V battery. Once you hear it, you will realize why it is used by many Police departments, Security Units, and in other venues for security, law enforcement, and safety purposes.
The horn has two tones that rapidly bounce from one to the other creating a tone that is definitely noticed. The mega horn very easily mounts to the handlebars and is activated by a push button on your grip. The Lightweight and weather resistant unit easily penetrates traffic noise with 105 db at 1 yard.

Yes it is very effective at 1 yard but, when you get beyond 6 yards in the city it becomes very faded. Yes it would be much more effective in areas that have less noise. But i also found it to be startling to some pedestrians. The Siren is not really that recognizable as if it were a bicycle bell. If you are looking for a good horn that is loud an reaonable than this one is for you. I was in th park near my house ad Iwanted to test it so when I did the people at the other end of the park heard it and that was just over a yard away. the only down fall is the design, I feel it could be made more thinner.
